Kendra Lee – Fast at Penticton

Kendra Lee joined Drew Scott as amateurs who posted faster times than the pros at major Ironman events. Lee, a 32-year-old age grouper from Denver, was 1:09 faster than top pro Gillian Clayton at Ironman Canada.

Drew Scott may be the son of Dave Scott, but Drew isn’t resting on his father’s laurels. Drew as an amateur had the fastest overall time at Buffalo Springs 70.3 and next year he’ll be racing as a pro while finishing his last year at Colorado University.

Superb racing in Las Vegas

Sebastian Kienle took charge of the 2012 Ironman 70.3 World Championships on the bike and stormed to the win in course record time of 3:54:35. Leanda Cave took the women’s title with a similar plan of action in 4:28:05.
