Alistair Brownlee on target again

After his Olympic gold last August, Alistair Brownlee had his appendix removed early in October. After three months' recovery, he started training in mid January was unsure how he would perform in San Diego.

Raelert, Chura in New Orleans

Andreas Raelert pulled away from the hard charging Trevor Wurtele at 70.3 New Orleans to take the win by 5 seconds. Haley Chura earned a hard earned first big Pro win against the very experienced Amy Marsh in the women's race.

Brownlee rules WTS San Diego

The 2012 Olympic Champion Alistair Brownlee dominated the field at the ITU Omegawave WTS event in San Diego and stormed to another fine win. Richard Murray and Joao Silva rounded out the podium.
