Dye, Naeth win in Philadelphia

Cameron Dye pulled away on the bike and held off Andy Potts on the run to take the 2013 TriRock Philadelphia Triathlon. Angela Naeth had to chase down Sara McLarty on the run to grab the women's title.

Van Lierde, Ellis take Nice

Frederik Van Lierde won his 3rd Ironman France title in a row with a superb effort all day and a final time of 8:08:59. Mary Beth Ellis took the women's title and broke the course record with a time of 9:12:54.

Bozzone, Corbin top Tremblant

Terenzo Bozzone of New Zealand broke away from Canadian Brent McMahon on the run and Linsey Corbin of the U.S. held off Canadian Magali Tisseyre to win Ironman 70.3 Mt. Tremblant.

Gambles, Norden win Syracuse

Joe Gambles of Australia dominated the men’s field and Olympic silver medalist Lisa Norden of Sweden finished 7th overall and topped women’s runner-up Heather Leiggi by 22:49 to win Ironman 70.3 Syracuse.

Rouault, Kretz win in Edmonton

Gregory Rouault of France edged Kyle Jones of Canada in the men’s race and Amelie Kretz led a 1-2-3-4 Canadian sweep of the women’s race at the Edmonton ITU sprint distance World Cup Sunday in Alberta.

Limkemann, Williamson at Williamsburg

Super swimmer Eric Limkemann added a superb bike split and a good run to soundly beat Richie Cunningham and Kelly Williamson overcame a 9 minute deficit off the bike with a sizzling run to win Rev3 Williamsburg.

Stierli, Pooley take Swissman

Switzerland's Markus Stierli grabbed the top spot of the inaugural Swissman Extreme Triathlon in 11:29. Brit Emma Jane Pooley who won the 2010 UCI TT World Championships and resides in Switzerland dominated the women's race.

Stolz, Vanlandingham in Brazil

South African Conrad Stoltz grabbed his second XTERRA Brazil title today, having won the inaugural race back in 2005. Shonny Vanlandingham from the United States earned her 3rd title there in the last four years.

Boulder gets an Ironman

Ironman announced today that Boulder, Colorado, one of the world’s great triathlon meccas, will get its own Ironman event, the 10th in the Ironman U.S. Series, on August 3, 2014 and registration will open July 17.
