Bart Aernouts of Belgium outran Andi Böcherer of Germany and Lisa Hütthaler of Austria out biked Eva Nystrom of Sweden to win Ironman 70.3 St. Polten as low air and water temperatures canceled the swim.

Gregory Billington of the United States won wire to wire and Kaitlin Donner of Australia topped Andrea Steyn of South Africa by 30 seconds to win the men’s and women’s overall titles at New Orleans 5i50

McCormack, Csomor top Rimini

McCormack won a finish line sprint to prevail by 3 seconds over Daniel Fontana of Italy while Erika Csomor of Hungary topped Diana Riesler of Germany by 2:02 to win the Challenge Rimini half on a windy day in Italy

O’Donnell, Stevens take Brazil

Timothy O’Donnell won his first Ironman by 18 minutes and super swimmer – excellent biker Amanda Stevens held off a late race charge by Sara Gross to take her first Ironman win at Florianopolis Brazil.

Jones, Goss take Kansas 5i50

After lightning forced cancellation of the swim, Jordan Jones of Golden, Colorado topped the men’s race and Lauren Goss of Clermont, Florida won the women’s crown at the Kansas 5i50 impromptu duathlon in Lawrence.

Bozzone, Ellis win Florida 70.3

Terenzo Bozzone of New Zealand edged Kevin Collington of the U.S. by 1:21 and Mary Beth Ellis topped fellow U.S. competitor Mandy McLane by 5:07 to win the Ironman 70.3 Florida overall titles.
