Dan Hugo of South Africa dominated the men’s contest, with a 5:43 margin of victory over Ryan Ignatz; Lesley Paterson had a tougher time dispatching Shonny Vanlandingham by 2:43 at XTERRA East.
New Zealander Bevan Docherty topped Canadian Brent McMahon by 1:41 and super-runner Liz Lyles of Reno, Nevada topped Heather Jackson by 7:23 to win Ironman 70.3 Boise Saturday.
