There’s a new site a comin’
There's a new train… er… site architecture a comin'. The new reader forum is up and alive now. Please excuse the construction.
There is a thread atop the new forum asking for bugs and comments. There are a number of things that are cosmetically amiss that we're working on, and also there's a new search process we're implementing that should make finding content on the forum much easier.
It isn't just the forum we're working on. It's the entire site we're updating. The screenshot above is of our Map of Everything, part of our attempt to help Slowtwitchers find every resource and stakeholder group in his or her general area.
We're not launching anything else until the forum is completely to our liking, but the rest of the site will be updated forthwith, which we are calling Slowtwitch 3.0 because it's our third content platform in the 16-year history of this portal.
Thanks for your patience. Our content management system is only about 8 years out of date (which is a century in the world of the internet). With some luck we'll have just about caught up by the time we launch the rest of what we've been working on.
