KB’s bike is as clean as I have ever seen it. It looks like he has really taken the time to not only dial in his position, but make sure that the bike is put together perfectly. No rusty bolts or wires hanging out. Everything has a place and it’s super polished.

I say this with the disrespect it sounds like…
That’s so ugly
What is so ugly?
It is so ugly it is slick. I don’t normally like this type of bike but that is pretty good going. Sleek and understated.
Reminds me of every stationary bike I see in the gym. Lol.
haha
Thanks that’s my best work.
was the bike put on diet as well ?
Man…I would’ve 100% agreed with this the first time KB pulled out the Cadex Stationary bike several years ago, but I agree with @SheridanTris …there’s something slick about this matchy matchy b&w set up. @E_DUB did you b&w these photos…or are those red bull bottles grayscale as well??? If so, grab me one!
This is great agreed.
But it’s like polishing a turd, after all the work it’s still a turd.
Hahahahaha…
This is a size Medium bike not a Small.
Jeroen
If that style of bike was faster than a regular frame would it not have been proven in the wind tunnel and therefore all manufacturers go down this route?
I’m no engineer but I would assume that the reduction in rigidity from taking out one side of a triangle would require the remaining tube to be significantly strengthened thereby increasing weight.
Not trying to be anti progress - I’d ride whatever is fastest.
Wow! 58/44 with an 11/34 cassette? I’m guessing he doesn’t do a lot of climbing with those gears. And he’s a monster on the power.
44x34 is very similar to 39x30. At a cadence of 75 rpm, it’s ~12 km/h.
Unless there are ramps over 12%, it’s quite achievable even for a top age grouper. I don’t think he plans on climbing under 350W either
