Andi Böcherer ran away from Paul Ambrose and Luke McKenzie to take the 2012 Ironman 70.3 Cozumel in 3:53:45. Liz Blatchford had a solid day throughout and grabbed the women's title ahead of Melissa Hauschildt in 4:14:31.

Potts, Fletcher win Branson 70.3

Andy Potts posted the fastest swim, bike and run splits to out pace runner-up Ben Hoffman by 4 minutes; Jenny Fletcher outdueled Nina Kraft-Johnson by 30 seconds to win Ironman 70.3 Branson.

Dmitry Polyanskiy of Russia and Nicky Samuels of New Zealand won the men’s and women’s titles on a hot day at the Tongyeong ITU World Cup in Korea Saturday.

Jordan Rapp was a repeat winner and Christine Anderson won her first Leadman Epic 250 which moved from a hellish Las Vegas course to a simply hard test in Bend, Oregon.

Josiah Middaugh of Vail, Colorado and reigning XTERRA Elite Women’s World Champion Lesley Paterson of San Diego and Scotland won the XTERRA USA National Championship at Snowbasin Resort in Utah.
