Llanos, Pedersen rule Frankfurt

Eneko Llanos had an impressive sub-8 performance at the European Ironman Champs in Frankfurt while several other favorites faltered. Camilla Pedersen ran down Jodie Swallow in her first Ironman outing and recorded a very fine sub-9 time.

Stimpson supreme at Kitzbühel

Jodie Stimpson joined Alistair Brownlee in giving the British a monopoly on gold medals on the fiendishly steep hills of the Kitzbühel WTS course; surprisingly, Stimpson had the bigger margin of victory.

Alistair Brownlee tops Kitzbühel

Olympic champion Alistair Brownlee made the brutal climbs of Kitzbühel look easy, completing the maximum 22.3 percent section on the bike and a similarly steep run in 55:24 with a 36 seconds margin over Mario Mola.

Maik Twelsiek is back on track

German Pro Maik Twelsiek had a somewhat forgettable season in 2012 but looks to be back at full strength this year. He had a video chat with us.
