More Twitter Legitimacy notes
We shared a Twitter Faker check yesterday that covered the Pro men, and today we look at the Pro women, ourselves and a few other magazines.
We had initially planned to only seek out the top 5 International Pros and the top 5 North American ones so we did not appear to be only casting stones, but we found out yesterday with that Twitter Faker app that was recommended by TechCrunch and Mashable that we thus missed 4 other unusual activities in the men's top 55. So for this article to stay even we sampled the top 5 International and North American female and they all fell into the normal range of Fake to Inactive to Good follower ranges, we even sampled all the way down to number 40 and everyone stayed in that 5% – 20% Fake range that appears to be normal. As we mentioned yesterday, the inactive one is kind of a tricky parameter as many folks (including my wife) only use this social media tool as a news aggregate. So while she isn't really tweeting, she is far from Inactive, but is likely captured in those numbers, and possibly even as a Fake.

Helen Jenkins (GBR) is the highest ranked short course Pro among the women with 13,700
Paula Findlay (Can) currently has 12,799 followers

Model and Pro Jen Fletcher (USA) was almost missed despite 6,837 followers.
The currently pregnant Sarah Haskins (USA) has 5,669 followers.
