Cervelo Takes the Cake at IM Nice Bike Count

We came, we saw, we counted. Together, like every year, the industry media and brands get together and share the exciting adventure of the IRONMAN World Championship bike count. This year, Cervelo took both professional and age group bragging rights.

For age groupers, the top 3 bike brands were:

• Cervelo – 189
• Trek – 168
• Canyon – 150

In the Pro Field, the top 3 were

• Cervelo – 9
• Trek – 7
• Argon 18 – 4

The count included the following categories this year.

• Bike Brand
• Drivetrain
• Wheels
• Pedals
• Saddles
• Aero Bars
• Powermeters
• Front Hydration
• Rear Hydration

It’s not easy work. We all have so much to do on the day before the race, but we all feel like it’s essential to get the information. Our friends at Triathlete have all the info up here.
