Fenella Langridge’s Trek Speed Concept
Fenella is ready to rumble this Sunday on her trusted ride. I will say everything is pretty standard on this one. I mean, it is still a $13,000-$16,000 superbike (depending on how you choose to price it out), Except the one thing that sticks out to me was the front end.
- Trek SC Conversion Kit
- Adjustable Angled Riser
- Mk1 Extension Bodies
- Anemoi Carbon Arm rests
- +35mm Garmin Computer mount
- Anemoi BTA mount
- Wireless Blip handgrips
She is one of many athletes looking to use a 2x drive chain for the hilly bike course. (Although the bike count will tell us more on that later).

GOOD VIBES ONLY seems to be the motto for this athlete.
Fenella is excited about this weekend’s race and feels 100% recovered from the calf strain she suffered a little while back. She currently sits in 10th place in the IRONMAN Pro Series. You can follow Fenella here on the gram if you haven’t done so already.
Is the 54/39 a standard SRAM-supported solution now?
Yeah > 50 outer rings are no longer ‘pro / sponsored’ only
You can now get: 52/39, 54/41 and 56/43
I got that, but is it really no longer limited by 13t difference?
ie, one can mix the 54 with the 39?
Will be a 54/41 - don’t think the FD would handle such a large difference in teeth
what is she using to mount the rear bottle cages?
Nah, they’re still the one piece chainring PM combo so you’re stuck with what they offer
Anyone knows where you can get those straws? Great diy job
