An angry Andrew Yoder blitzed the bike at the 2011 Columbia Triathlon in course record time and cruised to a comfortable win. Lindsey Jerdonek used a strong run to get away from Jasmine Oeinck to take the women's title.

Defending champion Filip Ospaly ran down Michael Weiss to take the 2011 Ironman 70.3 Austria St. Pölten. In the women's race the podium was reversed from the previous year with Karin Thürig victorious this time.

Gemmell, Stevens take Memphis

Kris Gemmell overcame storms and tough competition to win the 5150 Memphis in May Triathlon by a minute. Amanda Stevens' advantage was only a few seconds but that was all she needed to take the women's crown.
