Reed, Cave win Rev3 Knoxville

Matt Reed passed Cameron Dye in the last mile to win by 9 seconds and defend his Rev3 Knoxville title. Leanda Cave held off defending champ and fellow Brit Julie Dibens by 1:09.

In boiling heat and wicked winds that overcame many, Jordan Rapp won the men;s title at Leadman Lifetime Epic 250; Angela Naeth of Canada was the women’s champion.

Andreas Raelert came back on the run to win the inaugural Thomas Cook Ironman 70.3 Mallorca by just over 3 minutes. Emma-Kate Lidbury held off Erika Csomor and Silvia Felt for the women’s title.

Aussie Brendan Sexton stormed to the win at the 2011 Monterrey ITU World Cup and held of French Pro Frederic Belaubre and American Hunter Kemper. After a runner-up spot in Mooloolaba, Sexton now stepped up to the very top spot.
