List Your
Coaching Business

Everything you need to know to get your coaching business listed in the Slowtwitch Coaches Directory—from account setup to managing your profile.

01
Create Your Account

You need a Slowtwitch.com account before you can create a coach listing. This is the same account you’d use for the Forum or Classifieds. Already have one? Skip to Step 2.

  1. Go to slowtwitch.com/sign-in-sign-up
  2. Enter your email address—this will walk you through the rest of the steps.
  3. Check your email for a verification link and click it to confirm your account.
  4. Log in with your new credentials. You’re ready to create your listing.
02
Start a New Coach Listing

Your coach listing is part of your Slowtwitch account profile. There’s no separate system—everything lives in one place.

  1. Log in and click your profile icon in the top right corner of the site.
  2. From your account dashboard, click Add Listing.
  3. Select the Coaches directory when prompted.
  4. You’ll be taken to the listing submission form.
03
Add Your Photo & Logo

Athletes want to know who they’re working with. A profile photo and business logo go a long way toward building trust and making your listing stand out.

  • Profile photo: Use a clear, professional headshot. Action shots from races or training sessions work great too.
  • Business logo: If you have a coaching brand or company, upload your logo as a secondary image.
  • Use high-quality images. Avoid blurry or heavily filtered photos—this is your first impression.
04
Fill In Your Listing Details

Complete each section of the form. Here’s what you’ll need:

Listing Title

This is the name athletes will see when browsing the directory. Use your coaching business name, or your full name if you coach independently. Keep it clear and searchable.

Good Example
"EndureFit Coaching – Coach Sarah Mitchell"
Bad Example
"Triathlon Coach"
About / Bio

This is your chance to tell athletes who you are and why they should work with you. Include:

  • Your coaching background and experience
  • Certifications and credentials (USAT, TrainingPeaks, ASCA, etc.)
  • Sports and disciplines you coach (triathlon, running, cycling, swimming)
  • Types of athletes you work with (beginners, age-groupers, elites, Ironman-focused, etc.)
  • Your coaching philosophy or approach
  • Notable athlete results or achievements, if applicable

Write in first person. Athletes connect better with coaches who sound like real people, not corporate bios.

Services & Pricing

Be upfront about what you offer. Athletes want to know what they’re getting before they reach out. Consider including:

  • Monthly coaching packages and what’s included
  • One-on-one vs. group coaching options
  • Training plan-only options, if available
  • Race-specific prep programs
  • Starting price or price range (optional, but helps filter inquiries)

You don’t need to list every detail—just enough for an athlete to know if you might be the right fit.

Location

Enter your city and state (or country, if you’re outside the U.S.). Even if you coach remotely, listing your location helps athletes who prefer a local coach find you. If you coach 100% online, note that in your description.

Website & Social Links

Add your website URL and any relevant social media profiles. This gives athletes a deeper look at your coaching business and builds credibility.

Contact Information

Choose how you’d like athletes to reach you. You can use the built-in contact form (recommended), provide an email address, or link to a booking/inquiry page on your website. Athletes must be logged in to contact you, which helps cut down on spam.

05
Review & Submit

Before you hit Submit:

  1. Double-check your listing title, bio, and contact details for accuracy.
  2. Make sure your photo uploaded correctly—it becomes your directory thumbnail.
  3. Confirm your contact preferences are set the way you want them.
  4. Click Submit Listing.

Your listing may go through a brief review before going live. You’ll receive an email confirmation once it’s published and visible in the Coaches Directory.

06
Manage Your Listing

Your coach listing lives in your Slowtwitch account profile. You can manage it anytime from your dashboard—no separate login required.

  1. Log in at slowtwitch.com/my-account
  2. Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select My Listings from the dashboard menu.
  4. Click on your coach listing to edit it.

From there you can:

  • Edit – Update your bio, services, pricing, photos, or contact info at any time.
  • Pause – Temporarily hide your listing if you’re not taking new athletes.
  • Delete – Remove your listing entirely if needed.
  • Renew – If your listing expires, you can renew it to keep it active.
Tips for a Great Coach Listing

Be Specific

Don’t just say “triathlon coach.” Tell athletes what distances, levels, and goals you specialize in.

Show Results

If your athletes have hit PRs, qualified for Kona, or completed their first race, mention it. Social proof matters.

Use a Real Photo

Listings with a clear headshot or action photo get significantly more clicks than those with a generic avatar or no image.

Respond Quickly

Athletes often contact multiple coaches. A fast, personal reply can be the difference between landing a client and losing one.

Keep It Updated

Review your listing every few months. Update your credentials, services, and availability so athletes always see current info.

Link Your Website

Your Slowtwitch listing drives traffic. Make sure your website link is current and leads to a page where athletes can learn more or sign up.
