First Slowtwitch x Velocity Community Rides Set for This Week
We’ve been talking a fair bit about Velocity’s indoor training platform over the past few weeks. But now it’s time to show athletes and coaches the Velocity cycling experience. This week, there will be two Slowtwitch Community Rides, hosted by Velocity coaches, on the platform.
Thursday, January 16th – 9 AM Eastern / 6 AM Pacific / 2 PM GMT
This ride, led by Velocity coach Robbie Ventura, will last one hour. The workout is dubbed “Sweet Spot Silliness,” and you can see the profile of the workout below.

The focus for questions and answers during the ride will be for individual athletes looking to make the switch over to Velocity.
Saturday, January 18th – 10 AM Eastern / 7 AM Pacific / 3 PM GMT
As one can probably expect from a weekend ride, this session is a little longer than the midweek one, coming in at 90 minutes. The workout, which will be led by coach Adam Meredith, is titled “Shifty Shiftiness – Blended System Work,” and the profile of that workout is below.

The ride is open to all, but the questions and answers focus for this ride will be toward coaches who wish to host events and rides, or have all their athletes swap over to Velocity.
How to Register for the Rides
In order to ride these events, you’ll first need to register for an account on Velocity. It’s free to join, and there is no credit card required.
That will give you access to the Velocity Marketplace. From there, you can view all of the Live Rides available on the platform (including the two that we are hosting this week).

As you can tell, this is also the screen where you can sync up your preferred training log, like TrainingPeaks or FinalSurge.
We hope to see you on Thursday or Saturday!
