The swim will be in the spring fed lake which is a clean, clear lake Team ATP has used for years as their teams practice venue for open water.
The run course is around the lake and a quick section out of the park and back so again flat. This will use the paved park path as well as crushed limestone and blacktop.
More: Team ATP of the Saginaw area has brought us in to host this 3 aquathon event series. We have developed two great courses for both the veteran swimmer/runner multi-sport athlete as well as a perfect event for the new multi-sport athlete that may not be ready for a long distance.
If you need to work on the open water swim, if you need to get more comfortable in the open water this was designed with you in mind. Few multi-sport athletes can say they don't need work in that area. The veterans can use this as a great brick workout to wake up the legs after a weekend of racing to get ready for the upcoming weekend of racing or just to work on specific areas like transition, all in a great park suited perfectly for an event like this.
Directions: There will be a $5.00 parking fee for Haithco Park for out of county residents.
