Registration fees included or disclosed up front?: Yes, all registration/convenience fees are included in price or disclosed up front. Course Info: The swim will be in the crystal clear waters of Rennie lake following a rectangle format. The bike course is great skirting you right along downtown Traverse City with an all right turn rolling course. It will take you by several lakes, a fast decent and a nice little climb to keep everyone honest out there.
More: Both a Sprint and Olympic offered as well as aquabike options.
All new bike course will be a HUGE improvement from year one at the new venue. We have deleted the half as well. You will be making a 20k loop around the lake with all right turns. The run course will be much improved as well with the camp staff replacing the sandy sections with wood chips and mulch.
This is gonna be a good one folks, a festival of triathlons minutes from downtown Traverse City, Michigan during the International Cherry Festival. Nestled in the pines of the Greilick Outdoor Recreation area, a former scout camp. Yes there is camping available right on sight! Come join us for bonfires and movies under the moon light while you are doing your final tapering for the event. This is gonna be our version of the West coasts Wildflower triathlons.
Directions: Please follow signs when arriving on site for parking. There will be limited parking inside the center and on scout camp roads. NO PARKING ON HOBBS road.
