Course Info: The ET Batavia Sprint Distance Triathlon and Duathlon, a USAT sanctioned event, marks its 16th running in 2019. Our triathlon starts with a 400 meter swim in the Harold Hall Quarry Beach using a time trial start – 3 seconds between competitors. Our duathlon starts with a 2.0 mile run on the Fox River Trail.rnrnThe triathlon and duathlon bike course is a 14.7 mile route with rolling terrain and scenic prairie views.rnrnThe 4.1 mile run for both events is flat, fast and shaded, winding along the Fox River Trail with wonderful vistas of the Fox River as you race. Many athletes feel it’s one of the best tri/du run courses in the area! First time multi-sport athletes will enjoy and benefit from the amazing support provided by our official coaching partner and title sponsor, Experience Triathlon.rnrnWe finish up our day with a fantastic post race party that includes free pizza, beer, music, a raffle and age group awards ceremony.
More: Youth EventsrnThe ET Batavia Splash and Dash is a fun youth event for ages 7-15 that combines running and swimming. The focus is on participation rather than competition. The Splash and Dash event will expose youth participants to USA Triathlon and the exciting world of multisport! Our event will be timed.rnrnThe ET Batavia Kid?s Dash is non-competitive fun event for children 3-8 years old. All registered children will get a finishers medal and a cookie. Everyone is a winner!
