1. Simply place a post on our triathlon forum and make a guess as to where this place is, and if you get it right you can choose from our prize table. Look for a thread entitled SECRET PLACES--SEPTEMBER 04, or whatever thread corresponds to the current month. If you can't find such a thread, start one yourself.

2. But don't just keep on guessing, be pretty sure you're right. You've got to guess this with precision. Not just the name of the trail, or the road, but where along this trail or road.

3. If you guess the right trail or road, you'll have one week to correctly guess the precise place to which the image refers. If you can't guess it in that span of time, it's open season for someone else to take a crack at it.

4. Slowtwitch employees/hangers-on are not eligible. Pro athletes can't take from the prize table anything from a company that sponsors them, nor can they take a product that conflicts with any of their sponsors. No industry people.

5. As far as we know, once we list a product as available, it is. But we can't and won't be held responsible for a company that, for whatever reason, refuses or just won't send the product out to the winner. In this case, you'll just have to alert us and then pick something else from the prize table. The company who makes the product will ship it to you. They'll only pay freight inside the U.S., and they may choose not to ship to a foreign country.

6. A person may win only once every 90 days.

7. The idea of this contest is to get you to go out and visit these places. I'm likely to quiz you, and see if you've been there recently. If I think you haven't, you'll probably have to revisit this secret place in order to claim your prize, even if you can correctly identify it.

8. If you win, choose a prize and email me, I'll put you in touch with the company who will send you your prize.

9. Do NOT send my private messages via the forum. I won't answer.

10. These aren't all the rules. I just haven't thought of the other ones yet.
