2. PAY FOR A LACTATE TESTONE IN NOVEMBER, THEN IN MARCH BEFORE THE IM SEASON STARTS. WORK WITH THE HEART RATES MEASURED. THIS IS THE CHEAPEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO IMPROVE. FORGET SPENDING MEGABUCKS ON BIKE EQUIPMENT; ALL RACES ARE WON AND LOST ON THE RUN.
